Shania Twain and her long time husband have split. According to a report from Us Weekly magazine Singer Shania Twain has split from her husband of 14 years, producer Robert "Mutt" Lange. Cue the rep™: Her rep has confirmed the break up, according to a report published on the magazine's website.

Twain married the music producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange on December 28, 1993. The couple have one child, a son named Eja D'Angelo (pronounced "Asia") who was born on August 12, 2001, an online bio notes.
It is not known yet what caused the split, but expect a whole slew of celebrity gossip reports to chime in on what broke up the beautiful country star and her producer hubby. The rep is already trying to head those reports off and has pleaded for privacy.
"Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert 'Mutt' Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage," spokesman Jason Owen said in a statement. "This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time."
